Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 14, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Dharma Massage & Wellness (“Dharma”). By scheduling or receiving services at Dharma, or by working as a therapist or renter at Dharma, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

Dharma Massage & Wellness provides massage therapy and wellness services in a shared professional studio environment. Services are provided by licensed massage therapists who operate within the scope of their professional training and licensure.

2. Client Responsibilities

As a client of Dharma, you agree to:

• Complete a health intake form truthfully and fully before your first session

• Disclose any injuries, medical conditions, sensitivities, or concerns to your therapist before and during your session

• Remove your shoes upon entering the studio

• Communicate openly with your therapist regarding pressure, comfort, and any discomfort during your session

• Treat all staff, therapists, and fellow clients with respect and professionalism

3. Scope of Services — Medical Disclaimer

Massage therapy services provided at Dharma are for general wellness purposes only. Therapists at Dharma are not authorized to provide medical diagnosis, prognosis, or treatment guarantees of any kind. Services are not a substitute for professional medical care.

If you have a medical condition, please consult your physician before booking a session.

4. Professional Boundaries

Dharma maintains a strict policy of professional conduct. Inappropriate, suggestive, or boundary-crossing behavior of any kind is not permitted and will result in immediate termination of the session. Clients engaging in such conduct may be permanently refused service.

Therapists have the right and responsibility to end any session immediately if professional boundaries are crossed or safety is compromised.

5. Scheduling, Cancellations & No-Shows

Scheduling is coordinated through Dharma. By booking an appointment, you agree to the following:

• Appointments are reserved specifically for you; please honor your scheduled time

• Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee; specific terms will be communicated at time of booking

• Dharma reserves the right to adjust scheduling in the event of inclement weather or other circumstances

6. Payment Terms

Payment for services is accepted via credit card, cash, Venmo, or Zelle. Applicable credit card processing fees may be applied to credit card transactions.

Gratuities are gratefully accepted and belong solely to the therapist who provided the service, with the exception of credit card gratuities, which are subject to applicable processing fees.

7. Health & Safety

Dharma is committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment. Therapists follow rigorous sanitation protocols, including handwashing between clients, use of fresh linens for every session, and hot washcloth treatments with each session.

If a therapist is unwell or contagious, your appointment may be rescheduled for your safety and theirs.

8. Personal Property

Dharma Massage & Wellness is not responsible for the loss or theft of personal belongings brought onto the premises by clients, therapists, or renters. Please take care of your personal items.
